Basics of Building a Business

Always dreamt of starting your own business? Want to gain practical advice about starting a new business?

Basics of building a business (B3) is a short series of FREE seminars which will be run in Luton (Term 1: Oct - Dec 2010) and then again in Bedford (Term 2: Feb - April 2011). The aim is to encourage and support people to start up new enterprises.

It will be completely fre to attend and will run alongside two business competitions (Business Concept & Business Plan competitions). The competitions both have prizes, to encourage lots of ideas/concepts as well as serious business plan entries. The seminars are open to the local community, students and staff at the University of Bedfordshire.

The seminars are relaxed and friendly and are co-ordinated by successful business people. The weekly sessions will be made up of a mixture of theory, case studies and group exercise with a chance to network at the end of each seminar.
